Job Description: Looking for a combo welder for a project in Colorado.
Job Requirements:
a) MUST be able to pass a weld test in 6G position (test description is further down)
b) Must pass a 5-panel drug screen
c) Must be able to drive to Colorado
Test Description: The pipe test is a 2" super coupon that has a .625 wall thickness. It is taken in the 6G position (ends covered) and is welded with a tig root with 70S2 tig wire to a .312 thickness the remainder .312 thickness will be welded out with 7018. We will torch cut 4 straps out of the coupon and do side bends here on site. We will be following B31.3 welding code.
Job Opportunity:
3-4 month project
Work is Monday - Friday
Rate is $28 per hour
$65 a day per diem (Monday - Friday)
$90 a day per diem (Saturday & Sunday)
Mileage reimbursement from a verifiable home address (.55 cents per mile; paid after first 2 production welds)
