Looking for Combo Welder/Fitters needed in the 290 area. Pay rate $ 15.00 -$16.00 Must be able to pass a welding test strong emphasis on slag and inclusion. You will take a 2 or 3 G welding test

MUST HAVE RESUME and be prepared to POSSIBLY TEST the same day if selected. These are temp to hire positions.

Felonies have to be greater than 7 years. Misdeameanors have to be 5+ years or longer.

Welder

Weld Engineer

The Trane Weld Engineer is responsible for improving manufacturing operations by implementing new and modifying existing processes that increase safety, productivity, quality and reduce costs. These activities will center around welding and painting processes for large ASME pressure vessels along with the joining of metal fabrications.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (others may be added):

• Improves existing manufacturing processes to increase safety, quality, productivity, product flow and reliability through innovative solutions. Conceives, investigates, evaluates and recommends new equipment and tooling.
• Maintains and improves existing equipment by working with Maintenance, Supervision and Material Control Departments. Assists Maintenance in trouble shooting breakdowns and scheduling preventative maintenance.
• Writes Capital Expenditure Requests, equipment performance specifications, action plans, responsibility lists, project reports, work instructions, test procedures and other documentation to support factory operations. Provides input for product cost rollups.
• Manages and/or participants in Productivity, Safety, Environmental, Production, Material Control, Six Sigma and R&D Project Teams.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelors Degree in Weld Engineering or Engineering and hands-on welding work experience required.

• Mig, Tig & Sub-Arc welding and large pressure vessel fabrication and ASME pressure vessel code preferred.
• Hands-on experience with robotic welding, Oxy-fuel/Plasma Burn Tables, metal forming equipment and rolls for large cylinders is critical.
• Experience with improving welding processes and tooling to reduce costs is essential.

Stick Welder/Fitter

Tradesmen International needs Welder / Fitters with a minimum 3 years experience in the commercial and industrial sectors. Work will be in Younstown, Ohio. Welders need experience with stick and should be able to work alone and fit from read blueprints. Also, you should have a working knowledge of safety as it applies to the welding and fitting trades. All welders must pass a 7018/6010 structural weld test, have a valid drivers license, pass a back ground check and a hair folical drug test.
