We have a new contract and are in need of CAPABLE, EXPERIENCED AND RELIABLE WELDERS and FITTER/WELDERS.

DUTIES CONSIST OF TH FOLLOWING (this is not an all-inclusive list, other duties within the accepted job scope will apply):
• Groove weld in all positions; flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead for up to 10 hours a day, 5 and 6 days a week
• Fit as needed
• Work with flux core wire up to 1/16th inch
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma/GED or 10th grade education with 6 months to 2 years equivalent industrial training and or equivalent industrial experience
• 2 years professional experience as a FITTER-WELDER in addition to related education and training
• Structural welding experience as a FITTER-WELDER
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Ability to pass a 3G and 4G with .052 wire, in accordance with ABS standards.
• Safely perform work in small and/or confined spaces, on ladders, and at heights of 20 feet or more
• Effectively communicate information and ideas in English both verbally and in writing without assistance or translation
• Complete installation and fabrication to exceed published standards and/or project specifications
• Perform math calculations (add, subtract, divide, multiply) and use mathematics based logic to solve complex problems
• Accurately use a tape measure and other measuring devices
WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Work is performed in a wide variety of environments including heights of 20 feet or more, small and/or confined spaces, and outdoors in all weather conditions. Will routinely bend, twist, kneel, walk, climb, and reach for 1-12 hours per day. Will sit, stand, and walk for 1-12 hours per day. Will endure noise, fumes, dust, and inclement weather.
Must be able to lift and carry 1-80 lbs throughout the day. Must be able to push or pull up to 75 lbs and safely wear a respirator when needed.
Must have the ability to perform the essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to safety or health of employee or others.
