The position will require the candidate to fabricate and/or weld together metal components of products such as tubing, plate and rounds using shop machines and Mig welding equipment. The candidates will be asked to set up and operate fabricating machines such as form brakes, saws, shears, torches, punches, drills and welding machines for production jobs. The candidates will manually guide the electrode/gun along the weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld, and size of molten puddle. The candidate will have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). These positions are 90 days contract to hire position. They are located in Congerville, IL and Brimfield, IL.
