WELDING JOBS SKILLS
- Must have experience with the following weld processes GMAW, GTAW, SMAW
- Must be able to layout and fit work to blueprint specifications.
- Skilled in basic fitting & piping system layouts; Able to interpret blueprints and welding diagrams
- Measure, cut, prepare & perform fitting of segments of piping & structural steel
- Weld plate & structural steel in the flat, vertical, horizontal & overhead positions
- Weld plate & structural steel in accordance with ASME Section IX & AWS Dl.!
- Weld stainless steel & aluminum.
- Weld mild steel pipe in accordance with ASME section IX & API 1104
- Run overlapping beads; perform butt, fillet, socket & groove welds
- Weld 2"-5" pipe in the following positions: 2G, 5G & 6G
- Utilize assorted electrodes and filler metals
Minimum of 4 years of experience or a weld school certificate is required.
All candidates must have a good work history.
Welding Salary
PAY RANGE IS $18.63 - $21.36 per hour with $.75 shift differential
