Acuren Inspection, Inc. is currently recruiting for Level II UT Shearwave, MT, VT technicians to support our Pipeline Integrity program. Out of our Denver Colorado Location internal job code 1389.
Dig sites will vary throughout North America, primarily in the US.
The position is broad in scope, with direct exposure to many aspects of the pipeline industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Assessing pipe condition by various means including UT shear wave, automated and manual thickness,sizing and detection, Magnetic Particle examination, Laser technology and visual methods.
Detailed reporting techniques including written forms, photographs, data input.
Soils and corrosion sampling
Job Qualifications:
The following skills, experience and qualifications are required:
Level II Ultrasonics ,Shearwave Magnetic Particle , Visual
Other considerations
NACE or AWS Certifications
Pipeline Integrity field experience
AUT/ Phased array experience
Superior communication skills, both oral and written
Organizational and time management skills
Interpersonal and leadership skills
Technical proficiency and attention to detail are essential to the position
Excellent Excel skills
Good data management skills
Other Applicable Information:
Approximately 90% of your time will be spent in the field.
Per diem will be paid when traveling.
Competitive compensation, with aggressive overtime schedule.
