MISTRAS Group Inc. is seeking mechanical technicians in Boston, MA. Experience in problem solving with regard to inspection, assessment, repair, and life extension of plant fixed equipment!
Duties for this position will include performing the following:
- Inspection Planning
- Fixed Equipment Mechanical Engineering
- Provide support and work with NDE technicians
Requirements:
- Pipe Welding, Piping Background
- 0-5 years of experience in mechanical or materials/corrosion engineering and performing Risk-
- Familiar with ASME VIII Div. 1 & 2, and ASME B31 series piping codes
- Generating P&IDÂ's, isometric drawings using AutoCAD and other software.
- Process Safety background
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Willing to travel 50%.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, lift 75lbs and wear respirator equipment
- NDT experience
