Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
• Performs minor repairs and applies basic welding processes on compactors, containers, and carts.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections, diagnostic and repair of electrical and hydraulic systems on compactors.
• Conducts safety checks on compactors and containers.
• Performs service calls for compactor repair.
• Performs related work such as flame cutting, bending, forming, beveling, notching of metal and plastic parts.
• Works from prints, drawings and verbal instructions.
• Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing compactors and containers, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
• Assists senior welders in the completion of project work and accept any responsibility as assigned.

Qualifications:

Requirements
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to weld with MIG and Stick welding
• 2 or more years of fabrication experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug screen, background and Department of Transportation Physical
