Welder Fabricator : Welding Job in Pearisburg, VA

Job Description Welder-Fabricator:

The Welder-Fabricator will repair, rebuild, or overhaul all types of production and service equipment in the facility and repair or manufacture fabricated parts.

Specifically, the Welder-Fabricator will:

Interpret engineering drawings including weld specifications
Implement weld specifications
Use cutting and forming equipment
Design and make jigs and fixtures to enable production of finished goods
Manufacture new components to BUCYRUS specifications
Perform repair, reclamation and replacement work on all aspects of equipment from blueprints, company manufacturing manuals, written or verbal instructions.
Responsible for correct daily time and material calculations.
Perform other duties and assume accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives.

Welder-Fabricator position requires:

A High School diploma is required. The completion of formal apprenticeship program or trade school is preferred.
Two years experience is preferred.
Ability to operate a fork truck.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
