As a Welding Equipment Field Repair Technician, you would diagnose, repair and perform calibrations on welding equipment at customer locations within the Houston metro area. A company vehicle is provided. Applicants must possess prior electrical and industrial experience, including hands-on experience in equipment repairs, welding, industrial, manufacturing, or related military experience. Experience with power tools, hand held tools, high voltage and test equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current TX Drivers License with clear driving record for the past three years
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematic diagrams
- Familiarity with industrial electrical systems (verification of voltage, amperage and resistance)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with hazard classifications
- Ability to independently problem solve and work within a team environment.
